The Metropolitan Business League is partnering with Thrivent to celebrate Black Philanthropy Month. This fundraiser will coincide with the global month-long campaign to highlight giving among African Americans. The proceeds of this fundraiser will go non-profit member organizations of the Metropolitan Business League. Donations made online to MBL Foundation, Inc. through Thrivent's giving platform between August 1-31, 2022, will be matched $1 for every $2 donated up to a total match of $5,000. JP Jumpers JP JumPers Foundation provides hands-on tangible assistance and support for thr everyday challenges of those affected by special needs. The JP JumPers Foundation prides itself on being the "Robin Hood" of charities by giving money & support to families affected by Special Needs. The goal is to ensure that this community has their monetary, safety and health needs met. Our mission is to raise awareness, increase advocacy & educate others on this community. Pampers, clothes, household goods etc.) Broken Men Foundation The Broken Men Foundation assists with boys who have had relationships. That hurt and pain may have caused them to become stagnant and disconnected with life’s situations. Young men have a tendency not to communicate. We can act out in different fashions sometimes resulting in domestic violence, becoming abusive parents or worse. Men and young men have to understand they aren’t alone in this journey, and it is ok to talk about the past and move forward. We strive to make broken youth better men by doing the following: 1. Give them the emotional support they need to overcome their past. 2. Teach them basic life skills and life lessons. 3. Empower them to be more productive citizens and leaders. 4. Provide them with a family of support. We want to teach young men through our program how to take back the community, and to lead in a positive way. We want to extend our hands to the youth and raise boys to become men.
