About Inspiritus Inc.

Inspiritus’ mission is to empower survivors on their journey from surviving to thriving. Inspiritus Disaster Relief teams are providing free roof tarping, debris removal, and muck and gut services, so that economically and medically vulnerable homeowners impacted by Hurricane Laura can begin the difficult process of recovering and restoring their homes. Teams will be serving homes in need in the Lake Charles, Louisiana region. In Louisiana, Inspiritus is serving homeowners impacted by Hurricane Laura in collaboration and partnership with the Texas-Louisiana Gulf Coast Synod and Upbring (Lutheran Social Services Disaster Response). Inspiritus is based out of Atlanta, and is a long-standing partner of the Southeastern Synod and the Thrivent Member Network. Funds raised will provide impacted homeowners with disaster relief services from Inspiritus, Upbring, and the Texas-Louisiana Gulf Coast Synod. Thrivent Member Network - South Region will donate up to $100,000 total in matching funds to organizations featured as part of the Hurricane Laura Disaster Response. For every $2 donated, the Thrivent Member Network will match $1 up to $100,000 or October 31, the sooner of the two. All donations in support of the Hurricane Laura disaster response will be made through InFaith Community Foundation. Thrivent will pay the online processing fees for personal donations made through InFaith Community Foundation up to $100,000 per calendar year.
