About St. John's Bed Build with Sleep in Heavenly Peace

Join us for a day of faith, fellowship, and service as we partner with Sleep in Heavenly Peace to help ensure that every child in our community has a safe, comfortable bed to sleep in. Right now, children in Central Kentucky are waiting for a bed of their own, and you can help change that. A bed is more than a piece of furniture. It is a foundation for healthy sleep, emotional well-being, academic success, and personal dignity. Yet many children in our community are sleeping on floors, couches, air mattresses, or in overcrowded sleeping arrangements because their families cannot afford a bed. Through this project, volunteers from our community will build and deliver beds directly to local children in need. Your gift helps provide everything required to give a child a safe place to sleep, including lumber, mattresses, pillows, sheets, comforters, and bedding. Every dollar stays local. Every gift creates a direct impact. Every bed changes a child's life. Our Goal $7,500 = 30 beds for local children Giving Opportunities $500 – Fund a bunk bed $250 – Fund a single bed $100 – Provide a mattress $50 – Provide a bedding set $35 – Provide a Bed-in-a-Bag $10 – Provide a pillow and sheet set Double Your Impact This event is supported through a Thrivent Community Grant. For every $2 donated through this online campaign, Thrivent will contribute an additional $1, up to a total match of $1,000. That means your gift can go even further in helping local children receive the comfort, safety, and dignity of a bed of their own.
