Supporting Cancer Warriors & Caregivers in Redwood County. Kickin' Cancer in Redwood County, MN aims to help alleviate the financial strain and offer emotional support for cancer patients and their caregivers, enabling them to focus on their healing journey. Blessing Bags are an initiative we do to help cancer patients feel supported during their treatment. Anyone who is diagnosed with cancer and lives within or near Redwood County can be given one. The blessing bags contain comfort care items and a gift card which can be used for gas or lodging during treatment. This fall we are asking for monetary donations to go towards building our Blessing Bags! Thrivent will pay up to $300,000 in online processing fees per calendar year for personal donations made through Thrivent's online giving platform.
