Your donation will go further when you give to The Get Together ON Giving Tuesday! The Get Together connects business professionals with Christ-centered nonprofits for Kingdom impact. While partnering with 22 carefully vetted ministries, The Get Together encourages businesspeople to utilize their professional skills, resources, and network to engage with these ministries and make a huge impact. Monthly lunches turn into a case of "6 degrees of separation" when 43 needs from 10 ministries are presented and the group works to think of who they know, what they have, and how they can connect. It's high-energy and allows an opportunity for everyone to participate. At nearly every meeting at least 90% of the needs are met! Help us raise money for The Get Together by sharing this page and/or joining us for our Giving Tuesday event. We'll serve the community while raising funds for The Get Together! Join us for our SHRED Event on Tuesday, Nov. 28th. We'll set up at The Cannon West, 1334 Brittmoore Road, Houston, TX 77043. People can bring their small electronics and paper for shredding. This is a FREE event and an opportunity for people to donate to The Get Together on Giving Tuesday. Volunteers will be on hand to talk about The Get Together and encourage matching donations so we can make it to our goal. The shred event is open to anyone who would like to participate. It will be a drive-thru experience. We'll also have food trucks and fun in the parking lot! Note: there is a limit of 5 boxes per vehicle. For every $2 donated online through this fundraising page or at in-person events on Giving Tuesday, November 28, 2023, Thrivent will match $1 up to an additional $20,000 per Thrivent Member Network. All online donations in support of this fundraiser will be administered by Thrivent Charitable Impact and Investing®. Thrivent will pay up to $300,000 in online processing fees per calendar year for personal donations made through Thrivent's online giving platform.
