About Down Syndrome Association of Central Oklahoma

Down Syndrome Association of Central Oklahoma (DSACO) serves over 900 families across Oklahoma that have at least one child with Down Syndrome. They provide education to families beginning their journey with a child who has DS, host programs that are both social and educational in nature for the children and families, and provide overall support to families in a variety of areas. During the pandemic, much of the support has transitioned to the virtual space as they teach, guide, and encourage their families from a distance. They continue to provide a platform that allows their families to connect, engage their families with opportunities for training in a variety of areas, and have increased their support for parents in how to balance life during these unique and uncharted times. The impact is emotional, supportive, and ongoing as DSACO continues to guide their families to fulfilling and fruitful lives! For the month of June, the Thrivent Member Network - South Region will match every $2 given with $1, with a goal of raising $4000 and matching $2000. All donations in support of this fundraiser will be made through InFaith Community Foundation. Thrivent will pay the online processing fees for personal donations made through InFaith Community Foundation up to $100,000 per calendar year.
