City Relief works to end homelessness by helping individuals move from crisis to stability through personalized support, compassionate outreach, and connections to critical resources. Each week, trained staff and volunteers host mobile outreach events across New York City and New Jersey, meeting people where they are. These events provide freshly prepared meals, clothing, hygiene supplies, and a welcoming community. More importantly, they serve as a bridge to essential services, including healthcare, mental health support, legal assistance, identification documents, housing resources, employment referrals, and other vital resources. Everything City Relief does is rooted in dignity, compassion, and consistency. Guests know they can count on a warm welcome, a listening ear, and reliable support as they take steps toward a more stable future. Your Gift Makes an Impact $2 provides a nutritious, homemade meal. $6 covers round-trip transportation to a critical healthcare or social service appointment. $20 supports one individual's complete outreach experience, connecting them to food, supplies, and resources. $30 provides a Salvation Army clothing voucher. $40 covers the cost of a birth certificate necessary to access vital services. $50 provides a prepaid Visa card for hygiene items and other essential needs. $80 supplies a cell phone to help an individual stay connected to services, housing opportunities, and support networks. $100 provides one night of secure accommodations in New Jersey for someone recovering from trauma, illness, or other challenges. $350 provides one night of secure accommodations in New York City for someone recovering from trauma, illness, or other challenges. *For every $2 donated through this Give Day Your Way online campaign, Thrivent will add $1, up to an additional $20,000. Thrivent will pay up to $1,000,000 in online processing fees per calendar year for personal donations made through Thrivent's online giving platform.
