About This Project
We will purchase and have delivered a dump truck load of gravel to the Lyle Longhouse near Lyle, WA. The longhouse is a meeting, eating and celebration place for Native Americans, including 4 river tribes : Yakima Nation, Umatilla, Warm Springs and Nez Perce. The gravel will form a path around the Longhouse and the people will "walk the red path" during ceremonial events. We hope that the work we are doing here for our Native neighbors will be viewed as the Lutheran church reaching out to support and to walk with Native Christians on their path.In Support Of
