About Coated In Love

Coated In Love is a local non-profit focused on serving those who have fallen on hard times and need a helping hand. Through their annual 3,000 Acts of Kindness event which takes place in December each year at the Minneapolis Convention Center, they provide a day of hope and dignity to those experiencing homelessness in the Twin Cities. For up to 3,000 guests, they provide a hot meal, necessities (i.e. hygiene items, winter coat/hat/gloves), haircut, access to 50+ social service agencies, the opportunity to pray with a volunteer, and much more. 3,000 Acts of Kindness is only possible through the generous support of our community, corporate sponsors, and volunteers. Please consider an act of kindness by making a donation to directly benefit and bring hope to those experiencing homelessness in our community. For one day only, Thrivent is matching $1 for every $2 you give* to Coated in Love. - $10 will provide a hat or pair of gloves - $30 will provide one winter jacket - $50 will provide a new pair of boots - $100 will provide one guest with a day of hope and all gifts/necessities Thank you for your generosity and support. *For every $2 donated through Thrivent’s online giving platform on Giving Tuesday, December 3, 2024, Thrivent will match $1 up to an additional $20,000 per Thrivent Member Network. All donations in support of this fundraiser will be made through Thrivent Charitable Impact and Investing(R). Thrivent will pay up to $300,000 in online processing fees per calendar year for personal donations made through Thrivent's online giving platform.
