Lori Krohn is at the heart and soul of volunteering in her community of Albion, NE. Among the list of many ways she gives of her time, Lori has been integral in creating amazing opportunities for children and families in our community. She created and organized the 4th of July Kiddie Parade and the wildly successful Light Parade that celebrates the holiday season each year. Lori's role in the Albion Chamber of Commerce allows her to see and fill the needs of the community; her presence at events is constant and she instills the spirit of volunteering in those around her. Her ability to realize a need and act on it has been the beginning to so many activities that are now loved traditions. Recently retired, Lori has found the time to do even more! She leads exercises, calls Bingo, connects high school students and resident through activities and is organizing a Cinco De Mayo event at our local assisted living center. She also spearheaded an Easter Egg hunt for Boone Beginnings Day Care children and residents at the assisted living center that was enjoyed by all! Lori has a lifetime of experience in helping others as she has been involved with Meals on Wheels, the Legion Auxiliary, and countless other community programs and projects. Lori encompasses what a volunteer is; she can be found in so many different places helping in so many different ways, it's difficult to name them all. Lori truly is a GENEROSITY HERO and our small town is so blessed to have her!
