About Thrivent Member Network - Pacific Cascade Region's Fundraiser

At Oregon Food Bank, we believe food is a basic human right, and for nearly 30 years our mission has been to end hunger and its root causes. We hold people experiencing hunger and food insecurity in Oregon and Southwest Washington at the center of our actions and decisions because we envision a community where each person can fully participate, prosper and have reliable access to food that is in keeping with their culture. But our work is more than distributing food; it is community-building, power-sharing, wide reaching advocacy, and civic engagement. That is why it is so important we share with our donors and supporters that the historical value of $1 equaling 3 meals, though relevant, is not all encompassing of the true value of how their dollars are helping to end hunger. Yes, your dollars are providing meals, but by supporting Oregon Food Bank's mission and vision, you are also helping to build a movement of resilient communities led by people who have experienced hunger. Thank you for all you do to ensure families not only have food for today, but food tomorrow. Together we can end hunger! For every $2 donated online through this fundraising page or at in-person events on Giving Tuesday, November 29, 2022, Thrivent will match $1 up to an additional $20,000 per Thrivent Member Network. All donations in support of this fundraiser will be administered by Thrivent Charitable Impact and Investing(R). Thrivent will also donate $1 per photo or message posted on this page between 11/22/22 and 11/29/22 up to a $500 to this organization. Thrivent will pay up to $300,000 in online processing fees per calendar year for personal donations made through Thrivent's online giving platform.
