Doc's Recovery House

Thrivent Member Network - Two Rivers Region has adopted a focus of mental health for the remainder of 2021 and all of 2022.  

As a part of this focus, we are partnering with Doc's Recovery House in a fundraising challenge from 10/25/21 - 11/25/21.  This challenge will match $1 for $1 all donations made here and directly to Doc's Recovery House (indicate Thrivent challenge on your donation) up to a maximum match of $25,000.  Join us - we can do this!

Doc's Recovery House is a nonprofit recovery community organization in Rochester, Minnesota that provides recovery housing and peer recovery support to individuals pursuing a life of recovery from addiction. Through peer support, pre-treatment housing and long-term recovery housing, we focus on creating opportunities for those looking to transform their lives through hope, connection and community. Our mission is to reignite the light in each person by treating them with dignity and respect while walking alongside their path to recovery.

The work of Doc's Recovery House was made possible by a group of generous donors, and has been sustained because of ongoing donor support. Our pre-treatment housing model is the first of its kind both in Minnesota and across the country, and we took a tremendous leap of faith in starting the organization, knowing the lack of a safe place to start the process of recovery was keeping people from getting the help they needed. Because of donor support, we have been open over two and a half years, having grown from one community center and one recovery house of 14 people to two community centers in Rochester and Byron, and a housing campus in Rochester that can now serve 52 men and women. Donor support has made all the difference!
o	$10 provides a meal for one resident each day
o	$25 provides a full day of recovery groups for one resident
o	$50 provides one day of all housing costs for a resident in 
        our program
o	$100 provides meals for residents in one house for a day
o	$250 provides one month of sober recreational activities for 
        all of our residents
o	$500 provides one month of recovery support groups for 
        one resident

The Thrivent Member Network - Two Rivers Region will provide a $1 match for every $1 donated through this campaign up to a maximum match of $25,000. This campaign ends at 11:59pm CST on Thursday, November 25, 2021. Thrivent will pay up to $300,000 in online processing fees per calendar year for personal donations made through Thrivent's online giving platform.
