Through professionally supported, one-to-one mentoring relationships, we connect youth with caring adult mentors who help them build confidence, strengthen decision-making skills, and develop a vision for their future. Our mentoring programs create meaningful connections that help young people overcome challenges and pursue their goals with greater confidence. The impact is measurable. Youth matched with a mentor through Big Brothers Big Sisters are more likely to improve their academic performance, strengthen social-emotional skills, and set higher educational and career aspirations. Locally, our program outcomes consistently demonstrate positive growth in areas such as self-confidence, educational engagement, and supportive relationships, all of which contribute to long-term success. Every mentoring relationship is carefully created and supported by professional staff to ensure both mentors and youth have the tools needed to thrive. These evidence-based mentoring experiences help young people develop resilience, build positive relationships, and stay on a path toward graduation, higher education, and career readiness. Your support during Big Brothers Big Sisters Month helps us recruit, train, and support more volunteer mentors, allowing us to serve more young people across Northeast Florida who are waiting for a positive role model in their lives. Together, we can create more mentoring matches, expand opportunities for local youth, and ensure every young person has the support they need to realize their full potential. *For every $2 donated through this online campaign, Thrivent will add $1, up to an additional $20,000.
