About 21st Annual Lillian Bridgeford Memorial Scramble
I'm excited to be celebrating our 21st year of this event that we started to honor my mother and help raise funds for great local non profits! This year we're once again partnering with HIA Hospice (formerly Hospice of the Red River Valley). Hospice is organization made up of an amazing group of people that provide end of life palliative care to the terminally ill. Hospice care is intensive comfort care for those with a life-limiting, serious illness who have chosen to stop or go without curative treatments. Hospice treats the patient while also supporting their loved ones. It relieves pain and symptoms while attending to an individual’s physical, personal, emotional and spiritual needs. With an emphasis on comfort, patients and their loved ones are able to spend time simply being together. When pain and symptoms are relieved, the anxiety and stress that may accompany a terminal illness are lessened, too. Time with hospice is time living and making memories. These folks were a true Godsend to my mother and our family at the end of her life so it's our honor to be able to give back to them. Any and all support you can offer is greatly appreciated!
