About This Project
We are hosting a Civil War Reenactment on August 15-16, 2026 in Canton. We have over 200 reenactors planning on attending and spending the weekend along the trails at our property and each teaching about the daily lives of our veterans during the battle and how they lived day in and day out. 2 different battles will be performed. We will also hold a ceremony at Forest Hill Cemetery near Canton on Sunday Morning to honor over 80 veterans who settled near here after the war. It will be a 2 day event where we will make sure all the reenactors receive wood, ice and anything else needed. There will be living historians that will speak and educate. We will be setting up for the event a couple days prior and tear down will take a couple days after. It is a very informational weekend for our community.In Support Of
