About Montana Hope Project

Help us make children's wishes come true! The Montana Hope Project has granted the wishes of Montana children battling life-threatening illnesses since 1984! What began as a way for Montana Highway Patrol Troopers to support their communities in a special & unique way has grown into the Montana Hope Project you see today. They have granted more than 550 wishes which include adaptive equipment, hot tubs, campers, and unforgettable family trips. The Montana Hope Project is more than granting wishes. It is a community of love, support, and Hope throughout a child’s diagnosis, treatment, and beyond. Cooper is a 17-year-old with dreams of joining the United States Air Force. Unfortunately, due to the severity of his medical diagnosis, he is unable to make that dream a reality. Cooper's wish is to attend the “World’s Greatest Aviation Celebration” courtesy of the Montana Hope Project. The Experimental Aircraft Association AirVenture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin takes place in July of 2026 at Wittman Regional Airport. The event will feature daily airshows, evening airshows, and special programming in celebration of America's 250th anniversary.
